All About Fayette Fish
What we are all about!
Fayette Fish is based in Fayetteville, GA and is owned by a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army.
Our business began as a hobby, breeding fish at home. We focused on lesser-known freshwater fish like Discus, smaller Pleco species, and rare Cories. Eventually customers also became interested in the dry goods used to care for our home-bred fish, so we started to offer those as well. The demand of live fish soon exceeded our supply and we added wholesalers to help expand our list of available species.
We still breed quality fish for the aquarium industry and hobby. We have over 30 years of experience covering almost everything in the freshwater category. We have accounts with more than 10 different live fish wholesalers right here in the U.S. to help you find that rare fish you’ve been searching for!
Our focus is not on quantity, but on quality. We quarantine imported fish for two weeks, a rarity in this industry. We do not use a single central filtration system, but rather the proven air stones and sponge filters, helping to keep the tanks disease-free. We also have separate tanks for fish with permanent injuries and deformities where they can live out the rest of their lives peacefully.
